About Us

More children live with asthma today than ever before. It is the number one reason children miss school and the leading cause of hospitalization for children in Northeast Florida.

It’s a serious condition. However, when asthma is controlled a child can lead a normal, healthy life.

The Community Asthma Partnership at Wolfson (CAP-W) is here to help you take charge of asthma. We offer programs and resources that teach parents, students, educators, health providers and other community members about asthma and how to successfully manage this disease. Our goal is to break the cycle of repeated asthma attacks so children and families can manage asthma on a daily basis.

CAPW is here to help you.
