Health care professionals play a major role in helping to get childhood asthma under control on the First Coast. Physicians, nurses and other health care professionals must understand the disease, its triggers and how to diagnose and treat it, in order to help children and families effectively manage asthma.

The Community Asthma Partnership at Wolfson Children’s Hospital (CAPW) offers the necessary tools through the Easy Breathing® program to help you:

  • Improve recognition of asthma and classification of severity
  • Develop a systematic, standardized approach to asthma management
  • Decrease the need for emergency room visits, reducing health care costs for children with asthma
  • Improve the overall health of children with asthma
