Overview

In the greater Jacksonville area, it is estimated that more than 60,000 people live with asthma. Of them, many are children whose families are unaware that they have the disease.

CAP-W offers information and resources to help families identify asthma, understand the condition, and manage it successfully, allowing them to enjoy everyday activities without the scary interruption of an asthma attack.

The Community Asthma Partnership at Wolfson Children’s Hospital (CAPW) offers programs and services to help your family:

  • Learn the warning signs
  • Eliminate triggers
  • Get the medicine you need
  • Manage your asthma
